AlRayan Go is Al Rayan Bank new personal banking mobile app and will be the center of offering new experiences to clients. AlRayan Go is launched as a new offering to our customers in line with the Bank’s new strategy and brand. This is AlRayan Go’s first version to the market and the new app will be continuously updated and enhanced with new features to ensure we are offering best in class customer experience.
You can download AlRayan Go from the App Store for iOS (Apple) devices or Google Play Store for Android devices.
The minimum software versions required are iOS 12.0 or later for iOS devices and Android 9.0 or later for Android devices.
Yes, the app will be launched simultaneously for both iOS and Android devices.
Yes, the app will be available in both Arabic and English languages.
All personal banking customers are required to register on the new app.
To activate or register on the mobile app AlRayan Go, you will need your QID, OR Passport for Non Qatari, any MAR card number (debit, credit, Eqtisadi or Himyan), and Card PIN. The steps to register include downloading the app, then clicking on “Register for online banking” and then please follow the on-screen instructions to complete the registration process.
OTPs will be sent to only registered mobile number.
As part of the new app’s enhanced security features, all key activities and transactions will be authenticated via in-app security methods (biometric/passcode authentication) instead of OTP.
The mobile app provides access to various services including account management, card management such as viewing card details, lock/unlock, activate/replace cards, temporary limit increase, fund transfers/payment options including domestic, international, Fawran and transfer within own accounts, beneficiary management, statements, letters, eKYC and more. Also, existing mobile app will continue to work in parallel for a limited period.
The account section of the application lists all your products & accounts. Monthly account statements can be viewed and downloaded through this section. Further, you can query & view transactions for specific date ranges and download the same for your future reference.
For credit cards, customers can download their monthly statements through the card’s module. Further one can query for transactions for a specific date range.
AlRayan Go will be continuously enhanced and updated with features that enhance user experience. These features will be announced in due course.
You will be able to view accounts and cards related transactions on Al Rayan Go.
Domestic beneficiaries will be automatically migrated to the “Al Rayan Go” app and will be updated within three hours of registration. However, international beneficiaries will not be transferred; users are advised to copy their details from the current AlRayan app and add them manually to Al Rayan Go. Beneficiaries utilized after 1st April 2024 will be included in the migration process, provided their data is standard and non-duplicative, as entries with non-standard information or duplicates will be excluded, History of all previous transactions can be viewed as part of the accounts transaction listing.
Yes, you can activate the mobile app without visiting a branch. Please download the new app AlRayan Go from App Store for iOS devices or Google Play Store for Android devices.

You will continue to have access to both apps for a period of time to ensure a smooth transition from the old app to Al Rayan Go. You will receive a notification when access to the old app will be removed.
Payment features such Bill Payments, MPAY, Western Union, Charity Payments will be released on the new app shortly. You will receive a notification when the features will be ready so you can discontinue use of the old app.
The old app will continue to run for a limited period after the launch of the new app. to ensure a smooth transition. However, you can download the new app immediately to start enjoying the improved features and user experience.
No, you must Register for online banking by following the on-screen instructions to complete the registration process. Please note your username and password on the old app will remain unchanged.
For new user registration on new app: You can create a new password once you register on the new app. The password for the old app will remain unchanged.
For existing users on the new app: You can reset your password through the app by following the 'Forgot Password' link and providing the required information.
Yes, you can use the app on multiple devices. However, you cannot simultaneously use the app on multiple devices.
Downloading and using the mobile app is free. However, fees and charges may apply for certain transactions and services, as outlined in the bank's Tariff Guide located in official bank website.
Yes, you can activate the mobile app even if you are outside the country.
If your activation fails, you can contact customer support for assistance.
Yes, the mobile app is secure and uses advanced encryption to protect your data.
Yes, you can set up fingerprint or facial recognition login for added security.
No, activating the new app will not affect your existing (previous) online banking access on web or mobile.
If you lose your phone, you should immediately contact MAR customer support at 4425 3333 to deactivate the app on the lost device.
At this stage, you cannot link multiple user accounts on the mobile app.
You can update the app through the App Store or Google Play Store when a new version is available. This is usually auto updated depending on your app/phone settings.
Yes, you can customize notifications in the app settings at an account level.
Yes, via Messages function you can submit queries for card disputes and new product information at this time. Other topics will be available soon.
Yes, there is a new web version of internet banking available.
Yes, your app login credentials will work on internet banking on the web.
eKYC updates, multi-beneficiary & Fawran transfers will not be available on the web version as these are mobile banking services.
If any features are not available in the new web version, you can access these features through the mobile app.
The old web version will be available for a limited period after the launch of the new web version.
Yes, there is a self-learning tutorial with process steps and videos on the website.
You can reach out to customer support if you are unable to activate the new app or execute transactions.

With the new app, you can conveniently view and download your transaction details using a date range.
The information will be available on the AlRayan Go on 4th December.
Yes, you will be able to complete transfers on both apps.
Internal purposes only: Post go live, Existing VeriPark limits will be replicated in the new app across all payment types.
Existing VeriPark limits will be replicated in both applications for transactions where the receipt/beneficiary currency is Non-QAR (multi-currency).
In case of FAWRAN, since no central intermediary (Payhub/QCB) tracks the QAR 50,000 retail limit mandate, we may consider splitting the FAWRAN limits between the two apps on a specific logic.
In “AlRayan Go” IBAN numbers will be the ONLY acceptable input for many international beneficiaries’ countries. For other countries, the account number as input will suffice.
We are currently updating the loyalty program feature in our system. The correct balance will be reflected in the next release. Please note that your balance will remain the same and continues to be visible in the previous app.
Please click on Accounts or Cards and on the main menu then go back to Dashboard
When you click on log out you need to enter username and password to receive an OTP and set up your biometric again.
